Who we are
Researched Peptides (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates researchedpeptides.com and related research-member services. Questions about this policy: researched@researchedpeptides.com.
Information we collect
- Account details — name or display name, email address, phone number, password (stored hashed), Research Use Terms acceptance records, and account approval status (pending / approved / denied).
- Order details — items ordered, amounts, shipping notes you provide, and order status history.
- Payment information — processed by our payment providers (for example card processors and/or cryptocurrency invoice providers). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited as needed to run the site, keep you signed in, prevent abuse, and secure accounts.
- Communications — emails or messages you send to support, including photos you attach for damage claims.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies and similar storage to keep research members signed in, protect sessions, and operate checkout. These are required for the site to function.
We also use a small first-party analytics beacon to understand basic storefront usage (for example page views). We do not currently run third-party advertising or marketing analytics pixels. A short cookie notice appears until dismissed. If we add advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, provide additional consent controls before non-essential tracking begins.
How we use information
- Create and administer research member accounts
- Review access requests individually and approve or deny research purchasing privileges
- Process, fulfill, and support orders
- Send transactional email (verification, password reset, order updates, approval notices)
- Enforce Research Use Terms and prevent fraud or misuse
- Improve site reliability and security
- Comply with law and respond to lawful requests
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have no plans to sell member or customer data to third parties.
Phone, SMS, and text messages
Phone number is required at signup. Opting in to account-notice texts is optional and is not required to create an account. If you opt in to account-notice texts when signing up, you agree that Researched Peptides may contact you by text/SMS and similar messaging at that number for:
- Account and research-access notices (for example verification help, approval status, security)
- Order, shipping, and support updates
- Marketing and other promotional messages about catalog updates, research materials, offers, or related store news — only if you also opt in to the optional marketing checkbox
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing research materials, but a phone number is required to request a research member account. You can opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP (or emailing researched@researchedpeptides.com). Transactional messages about an active order or account security may still be sent when needed.
Who we share information with
We share data only with service providers that help us operate, under contractual safeguards, such as:
- Hosting and infrastructure providers
- Email delivery providers
- Payment and cryptocurrency invoice processors
- Shipping / fulfillment partners when an order ships
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.
Retention
We keep account, order, and research-acceptance records for as long as needed to operate the service, meet accounting and legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion subject to those obligations.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to appeal a denial. To make a request, email researched@researchedpeptides.com from the address on your account and describe the request. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
We do not sell or share personal information for advertising. California residents may still contact us to exercise applicable privacy rights (access, deletion, correction). Because we do not sell or share personal information, a “Do Not Sell or Share” opt-out is not applicable to our current practices.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards (including encrypted transport and hashed passwords). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Children
This site is for adults 21+ engaged in legitimate laboratory research. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21.
International visitors
We currently focus on United States research customers. If you access the site from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for local compliance.
Changes
We may update this policy periodically by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
